Together with PACKUNG s.r.o., we implemented a fully automated packaging line for Notino, representing a significant step forward in the automation of logistics processes. The solution increases packaging speed and performance stability while reducing errors during dispatch.
The automated packaging line covers the entire process from box preparation to the final inspection of the parcel before dispatch. LOGSYS a. s. contributed to the project by supplying and integrating the conveyor technology, ensuring a smooth flow of parcels between the individual sections of the packaging line.
The solution includes:
Automatic box bottom forming
Buffer for prepared boxes at the packing stations
Application of fixing film inside the box
Automatic product fixation using heat sealing of the film
Automatic box closing and sealing
Turning the parcel into the required position for further processing
Automatic application of the shipping label
Final inspection of packaging and parcel identification
The fixing film securely holds products inside the box without the need for conventional void-fill material. Heat sealing stabilises the products and protects them from movement during transport, making the solution particularly suitable for sensitive products such as perfumes and cosmetics.
The automated line is designed as a continuous process, with an emphasis on smooth parcel flow and minimising manual intervention. The intelligent buffer of prepared boxes at the packing stations helps eliminate downtime and increase operator productivity.
How did we contribute to the efficiency of the Notino packaging line?
