A flexible conveyor is a collapsible, extendable conveyor for transporting individual items such as cartons or boxes. It is particularly suitable for loading and unloading and for warehouse processes where the conveyor route needs to be temporarily extended or adapted. When collapsed it takes up very little space and is easy to move, so it can be deployed wherever it is needed and stored away again after use.
The roller version is suitable for heavier and larger items with a flat base, while skate wheels handle smaller and irregular consignments better. We supply flexible conveyors with either standard rollers or skate wheels depending on the goods being transported. We select the appropriate design together with you based on the type, weight and dimensions of the handled items. A height-adjustable conveyor also makes it possible to fine-tune the incline and height so that goods transfer smoothly to the next section of the line.
A height-adjustable flexible conveyor is useful wherever the connection height, route incline or section length changes. Typical applications include unloading trucks and containers, where the vehicle floor height changes progressively, or temporarily connecting workstations. Thanks to its adjustable length, height, incline and path, it can be adapted to the specific operation. After the work is finished, the conveyor can be collapsed to free the area for other activities.
